Bottom Line Entry Level

Some teams have pursued a extremely bottom line entry level camera strategy.  Where they advertise at $1000-$1500 and they sell 1PQ entry levels at about $110 in Year 9.  Meanwhile they are spending excessive amounts ($35,000-$45,000) in R&D on Multi-Feature Cameras, and charging much higher prices.  How would you recommend combating this strategy.  (So far it as worked very well for them)

There's a couple ways of dealing with this, although if they have solidified a RnD advantage, you have no true means of catching up. Glo-Bus plays linear like this, and it's very difficult to unseat a winning company. In any case, there are a few ways to be successful, however I would have to look at your game and see what kind of strategy is best suited for the circumstance.
